WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE PROCEDURE?

During this treatment, the hyaluronic acid filler is carefully injected into the buttock area by our expert surgeon, using a fine cannula. The amount of filler used can be adjusted to suit the volume that the patient wishes to add to their bum.
Buttock injectables are administered under local anaesthetic, therefore unable to feel any pain as the buttock area will be completely numbed. The procedure takes around 60-90 minutes to complete. The tiny series of injections are usually completely invisible once they have healed.

How long will the results last?

The results of Buttock fillers are immediate and can last for up to 24 months. The procedure should be repeated once a year to maintain optimal results.

How long is the treatment?

Treatment time usually lasts around 60-90 mins.

Is the procedure painful?

Buttock injectables are administered by our highly experienced Clinical Director under local anaesthetic, which means the patient will be awake during treatment, but unable to feel any pain as the buttock area will be completely numbed. In the first few days following the injections, the buttock area may feel tender and slightly swollen. The patient may require some mild pain relief such as paracetamol.

4. How will I know if I’m suitable for the procedure?

Is there any downtime?

It is advisable to avoid taking anticoagulant, aspirin or anti-platelet medication in the days preceding treatment.
