Cheeks & Jawline Augmentation

Not happy with your hamster cheeks or sagging jawline?

The highly experienced cosmetic doctors at ReShapeU can help you regain your beauty. During you initial consultation, we discuss your wishes and determine a possible treatment plan together with you.

What is a sagging jawline?

A well-defined jawline slowly changes with age. Due to aging, the jawline weakens. This is caused by volume loss. This is a result of a natural decrease in muscle and bone mass. The first signs become visible around your 30s.  With some people, there is even visible aging before being 30 years old. With a local filler treatment with hyaluronic acid, this process is easily reversed and life becomes enjoyable again.

What to do with hamster cheeks?

Although you might expect that volume loss with hamster cheeks starts at the jaw, it is usually the temples, cheekbones, and nasolabial fold that fall prey to this.

At ReShapeU, we help a lot of people who have had enough of their hamster cheeks. We do this by smoothing out the ‘weak links’ with extra volume. This gives you a strong set of contours again.

What to do with your chin?

Is your chin too small or short? Do you have pits, wrinkles, or lines on your chin?

A cracked skin?

If the chin is too small or short in relation to the rest of the face, we can properly restore this using a filler. This adds extra volume to the chin, which makes it larger. This treatment is not invasive and virtually painless (unlike the chin operation that was the only solution until recently).

Hyaluronic acid also hydrates the dry, cracked skin. For neutralizing pits, wrinkles and lines, we work with Botox. This relaxes the muscle that pulls on the skin from the inside and causes an orange peel skin. With a small amount of Botox irregularities disappear.

Before the treatment.

Prior to the treatment, you will always get a consultation. This consultation is Free of charge and without obligation. During the consultation we will discuss the various treatment methods and you will meet the consultant and doctor who, if desired, will treat you.

Of course, your wishes and expectations will also be discussed during the consultation, and we will look at the possibilities we see for you specifically.

We will map your face accordingly. We will also ask about your medical history, previous treatments, and any use of medication in order to eliminate risks and ensure that we can help you in a safe way.

The best jawline treatment.

Always wanted to have a defined jawline? This is now possible. The cosmetic doctor  has developed a special treatment method in which the doctor injects a precisely measured volume in various places. This lifts the face, including the jaw and chin, without affecting the character of your face. You look better without the outside world truly understanding why. The treatment is virtually painless.

The most important thing is that you experience the treatment as comfortable. After the treatment, the skin can be massaged and/or cooled with a cold pack.

On average, a treatment takes thirty minutes to an hour. The exact duration depends on the size and complexity of the treatment. There is no recovery time, which means you can immediately see the results.

Do you have a well-defined jawline like Angelina Jolie, Olivia Wilde or Brad Pitt? Then you expect that your jawline will keep its well-defined, strong shape. A well-defined jawline can be improved by placing the fillers in the correct volume and placement.

If your jawline is a bit on the undefined side, then you may be able to enhance it with injections. Temporary fillers can give your jaw and chin more definition. If you have a small, rounded jawline, then you usually have more fine lines, lose skin and dents.

A small, rounded jawline can be improved by placing fillers, mainly in the chin region and the jaw corner. For the best results, it is also necessary to place the filler directly on the cheekbone.

Results may vary based on a variety of factors, to ensure suitability you must attend a consultation. All our consultations are Free of charge.

The best chin treatment

Is your chin too short or to small? Dents, wrinkles or fine lines on the chin? A craquelé skin? If the chin is too small or too short in relation to the rest of the face, we can restore this into proportion with injecting fillers. When you add extra volume to the chin, your chin gets bigger and more well-defined. This treatment is not invasive and basically painless (in contrast to an operation).

Have you already had a short chin since childhood? Then we will add volume in the middle areas. But if the volume loss originated after your childhood? Then we will treat a wider area.

To reverse sagging of the chin by loss of volume, we use hyaluronic acid. When injecting this hyaluronic acid just below the skin, the skin will get strengthened. This has a lifting effect and will improve the skin from the inside out.

To neutralize dents, wrinkles and/or fine lines we also use Botox. Botox relaxes the muscle which pulls the skin from the inside and squeezing the orange peel texture skin out. With just a small amount of Botox a lot of irregularities will disappear.

After the treatment.

Immediately after the treatment, you will experience a numb feeling. Exceptionally, there can also be some swelling. This disappears over time. In even more exceptional cases, there may be some bruising after the treatment. This also disappears over time. Should you be the exception to the rule, then avoid sunlight to prevent pigmentation.

Hyaluronic acid takes two weeks to become fixed into the surrounding tissue. The gel needs a few days to settle. In the first week after treatment, the hyaluronic acid may shift and look somewhat irregular. During the check-up – two weeks after the treatment – we can correct this if necessary.

The hyaluronic acid is slowly broken down after 18 months to 2 years. However, there are large individual differences. For most people, it remains much longer. We recommend not waiting until the results are completely gone, but coming back before everything is broken down. This prevents a yo-yo effect.
